- Two EarthCraft certified multifamily projects and Habitat for Humanity were award winners at the 2009 Governor's Housing Conference in Norfolk, VA. Congratulations to:
- Best Housing Development: Hurt Park Phase II (Developer - Roanoke Redevelopment & Housing Authority)
- Mixed Use or Mixed Income Housing Development: The Station at Potomac Yard (Developer - Alexandria Housing Development Corporation)
- Best Affordable Housing Energy Conservation Effort: Habitat for Humanity Virginia - Habitat set a goal to have all of their new construction houses be EarthCraft certified by 2011; they have already achieved 70% of that goal. Thanks to all of the affiliates across the state!
